Family Advisory Council Story

ASQ Partner Project
Learn how HMG North Texas’ ASQ Partner project has collaborated to analyze data, secure funding, roll out provider training, streamline reporting, set goals with subcommittees related to ASQ, identify providers, and develop marketing assets with emphasis on equity and family voice.

Help Me Grow North Texas Subcommittee Structure
Cross-sector collaboration is integral to utilizing the HMG Model to support agencies, families, and communities. HMG North Texas has implemented the Model’s 4 Core Components through five interdependent subcommittees led by community partners to facilitate discussions, empower providers, highlight family voice, and identify gaps within the region.

Help Me Grow to Help Me Thrive Story
Help Me Thrive is an enhancement of the HMG Model through an innovative approach of expanding the age range to serve children and youth ages 6 up to 17 years old. Through the efforts of the HMG framework and collaboration, this enhancement continues to build and strengthen the system of care infrastructure and continuum of services to meet families’ specific needs.

Spread and Scale of the Help Me Grow Model in Texas
As the first implementation of HMG in Texas, HMG North Texas now encompasses a large region of 18 counties and has worked with state agencies to help scale and spread the HMG Model to 13 other sites in Texas. This session shares successful strategies for scaling and spreading the Model across rural and urban communities and the benefits of partnering with state agencies.
