StriveTogether is a national network of local communities working to put more young people on a path to economic mobility. StriveTogether communities use data to illuminate obstacles faced by children and families. Using their Theory of Action™ framework, these communities can transform systems to achieve better results.
StriveTogether is an independent 501c(3) organization based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 2011, StriveTogether supports a network of communities that want the best for every child. The organization helps communities build strong civic infrastructure to support equitable outcomes for children, cradle to career. Their approach to work is to support communities to eliminate disparities and change outcomes through convening, coaching, codifying, investing, and
influencing.
The Help Me Grow (HMG) National Center is partnering with StriveTogether to provide structured training, coaching, and technical assistance to two HMG systems selected to participate in the Organizing Entity branch of the new HMG Incubator Hub Initiative.
Purpose
StriveTogether is a national network of community partnerships that join together neighbors, including youth and families, nonprofits, businesses, schools and more, to work toward a future where youth can thrive in their shared communities.
Cradle to Career Network members change the way their communities work together by building connections, sharing resources and using data to put more young people on a path to economic mobility.
Their work helps young people meet seven key life milestones so that they have the opportunities they need to reach their goals, and, ultimately, thrive.
Goals
- Connect: Network membership unlocks knowledge, experience and support from more than 70 like-minded communities, along with connections to experts, partners and learning opportunities
- Support: Our team ensures Network Member have the resources and connections to succeed and make progress along the StriveTogether Theory of Action™. This proven framework gives communities a roadmap to putting more young people on a path to economic mobility
- Champion: Network members are part of a movement that’s shaping economic mobility for youth across the country. Members of the StriveTogether Cradle to Career Network are recognized by funders, policymakers and other partners for credibility, quality, impact and shared accountability
The StriveTogether website includes a trove of resources, training materials, and capacity-building opportunities for health care providers, family support professionals, systems leaders and others working to secure the health and well-being of young children and their families.
