2023 Forum Planning Committee

The HMG National Forum is an exciting opportunity for HMG affiliates and their partners to network, learn from one another, and develop new and supportive connections across the HMG community. Now in its 14th year, HMG will embrace all of our experience hosting the Forum both in-person and virtually, offering the best of all worlds.

2.  Virtual Event | October 17 | Virtual Attendee Hub

What Is the Forum Planning Committee? 

Every year, the HMG Forum Planning Committee (FPC) helps shape what the Forum will be and how it will run. The FPC is composed of individuals from across the HMG National Network who volunteer to represent the affiliate perspective and ensure that the Forum experience will provide maximum value to HMG affiliates. 

Members of the FPC will assist the HMG National Center and our Texas co-hosts to consider and make decisions about key elements, such as breakout session content, focuses for networking, and keynote selection. 

Should You Join the Forum Planning Committee?

If you are a member of the HMG community and you enjoy the Forum or wish to help shape the event from the affiliate attendee perspective, we encourage you to join! 

Each year, the FPC proves to be one of the most fun and engaging groups to convene across the National Affiliate Network. Beyond that, the influence of the FPC is significant, as it guides the direction of the HMG National Center’s most far-reaching and impactful offering for the HMG community.

Time Commitment and Eligibility

FPC members: 

• Will meet and work from May to October 2023.
• Will spend approximately 3-4 hours per month on Forum-related efforts; actual time spent may vary based on month and associated tasks.
• Must be willing and able to attend Virtual Event and are encouraged to attend the In-Person Summit if interested and able.

To recognize the time and effort provided by FPC members, the HMG National Center will waive this year’s registration fee for both the Virtual Event and In-Person Summit.
Waived registrations apply only to Committee members and are non-transferrable.
